आज सरांचा वाढदिवस आहे....

वाढदिवसाच्या हार्दिक शुभेच्छा

1999 पासून गेली 21 वर्ष आम्ही दोघे गोगटे जोगळेकर महाविद्यालयात प्राध्यापक म्हणून एकत्र आहोत. माझे सिनियर आहेत ..पण कधीच सिनियारीटी  दाखवली नाही. ना कधी.... कॉलेजला असं वाटतं म्हणून तुम्हाला असं करावं लागेल (असं आडून पण कधी दबाव ठेवला नाही) यादव सर म्हणजे एक माणूस म्हणून सतत माणुसकी जपणारा माणूस .. मला हाक मारताना सुद्धा 'ए मानसा' आहेस कुठे असच बोलणार ..त्याच्या साधेपणामुळे मग अनेकवेळा स्वतः त्रास करून घेण्यास तयार असतात त्यांच्या या स्वभावामुळे मीसुद्धा कधी कधी त्याच्यावर  रागावतो ..तुम्ही एव्हढे सिनियर आहात ...आणि कशाला सफर होता . 

दिलेलं काम निमूटपणे करणे ही त्याची खासियत ..म्हणून प्रत्येक सिनियर आणि ज्युनिअर ला यादवसर  सोबत हवे असतात. 1999 ला NSS मध्ये प्रोग्राम ऑफिसर म्हणून काम करत होते तिथे सुद्धा अतिशय प्रामाणिकपणे काम करायचे 

आता NCC ऑफिसर म्हणून काम करताना सुद्धा मूळ साधेपणाचा स्वभाव बदलला नाही. FC मध्ये आम्ही काम करत असताना त्यांचा स्वभाव आणि माझा स्वभाव जमीन आसमानाचा फरक .....

तरीही मला सतत प्रोत्साहित करत असतात . 

2006 मध्ये चिपळूण डी बी जे कॉलेजला FC चा अभ्यासक्रम तयार करण्यासाठी वर्कशॉप होता..ते सिनियर होते तर ते स्वतः जाऊ शकले असते पण यादवसरांनी मला जायला सांगितले आणि ती संधी मिळाली म्हणूनच आज तागायत सुरू असलेला  करियर मार्गदर्शन ..ताण तणाव व्यवस्थापणाचा आदर्श अभ्यासक्रम तयार करता आला. गेल्या चार वर्षात BMS आणि बायोटेक्नॉलॉजी सारख्या प्रोफेशन कोर्स ला सुद्धा आम्ही तयार केलेला अभ्यासक्रम डिग्री साठी कंपल्सरी करण्यात आला आहे. आपण तयार केलेला अभ्यासक्रम इतका आदर्श होऊ शकतो यांच्या सारखा स्वत:च्या प्रोफेशन मध्ये आनंद काय असू शकतो ...हे जे लोक स्वतःच्या प्रोफेशनमध्ये समाधान शोधतात त्यांनाच कळू शकते ...हा आनंद केवळ यादव सरांनी दिलेल्या संधीमुळे आयुष्यभर घेत आहे.

इतकंच काय...

त्यांची मुलगी गेल्यावर्षी कॉलेजला FYBsc ला आली तर तिची वर्गाची तुकडी माझ्याकडे दिली आणि आवर्जून विश्वास दाखवला आणि म्हणाले , मानसा ..मुलगी तुझ्या कडे FC ला असली की, तू वर्गात नेहमीच काहींना ना काही ऍक्टिव्हिटी घेत असतोस श्रुती जरा स्मार्ट होईल . इतका साधेपणा खरचं सहसा कुठे दिसत नाही. 

त्याच्या साधेपणाचा एक मजेशीर किस्सा  आहे.....

गणपतीची सुट्टी होती ..

सुट्टीला जाण्यापूर्वी सरांना म्हणालो तुम्ही गावाला जात नाहीतर माझाकडे गणपतीला या ...सर म्हणाले..फॅमिलीसहित नक्की येतो.  15 -16 वर्षात पहिल्यांदाच सर पहिल्यांदाच घरी येणार होते.

गणपतीच्या दुसऱ्या दिवशी त्याचा फोन आला ...मानसा स्टॉप जवळ आलोय घरापर्यंत कसं यायचं सांग. मी खूप उत्साहात होतो ..फोन वरूनच बोलायला लागलो ..रोडवरून सरळ या ..मध्ये मंदिर दिसेल मग मी समोरच उभा असेन ..सर म्हणाले ठीक आहे फोन चालू ठेवा ..मी पुढे पुढे येतो थोडयावेळाने फोन वरून म्हणाले मंदिर कुठे दिसत नाही ... लोकांना विचारलं तर म्हणतात मंदिर गोडाऊन स्टॉपला आहे....

काय घोळ झाला होता ते कळल्यावर  मला जोरात हसायला आलं  

सर माझ्या (नाचणे)रत्नागिरीच्या घरी आले होते..आणि मी गावच्या आंबेडच्या घरच लोकेशन सांगत होतो. मी कायमच गणपतीला गावी जातो ...मला वाटलं सरांना माहीत असेल .. ते पण हसायला लागले सोबत फॅमिली असल्याने मला खुप वाईट वाटलं मी तसं त्यांना म्हणालो ...उलट सरच मला समजावत होते जाऊद्या हो माझंच ऐकण्यात चूक झाली असेल ... सरांचा इतका साधेपणा अनेक वेळा त्यानांच अडचणीत आणतो 

आमच्या दोघांमध्ये स्वतः जबाबदारी घेऊन काम करण्याचा कॉमन फॅक्टर असल्याने 

अनेकजन  नेहमी बोलतात ही 

पायाभूत अभ्यासक्रमाची दोन भूत कायम कॉलेजवरच असतात 

...म्हणूनच कदाचित गेली 21 वर्ष आमचं कधीच कामाच्या बाबतीत गैरसमज झाले नाहीत... की खटके उडाले नाहीत. 

एकाच कॉलेजमध्ये ...एकाच विषयाला शिकवत असताना असं सहज प्रोफेशन मध्ये राहणे खुप मुश्किल आहे. 

मी खूप नशीबवान आहे की यादवसरांसारखा सहकारी मिळाले.

 Today is Sir’s birthday ....

 For the last 21 years since 1999, we have been together as a professor at Gogte Joglekar College.  He is my senior, but never showed seniority.  College thinks so you have to do it (but he never pressurized on it). Yadav Sir is a man who is always looking for humanity. Even when you call me, he calls me as 'A Mansa ahes kuthe' (Hey! Where are you?).  Because of his simplicity, he is often ready to bother himself. And his this nature sometimes makes me angry and I tell him that ‘You are senior and you should not bother urself much’.

 His specialty is to do the given work in a timely manner. So every senior and junior wants to be with Yadav Sir.  In 1999, while working as a program officer in NSS, He used to work very honestly

 Even now working as an NCC officer has not changed his nature.  The difference between his nature and my nature is like te difference between land and sky while we are working for the same subject i.e FC.

 Still, he is constantly encouraging me.

 In 2006, Chiplun DBJ College had a workshop to prepare FC curriculum. He was a senior, he could have gone himself, but Yadav Sir told me to go and grab the opportunity. And because of that it was possible for me to make curriculum based on carrier guidance and stress management. Over the last four years, this syllabus is compulsory even for professional courses like BMS and Biotechnology. What can be more delightful in one's own profession then seeing the curriculum we have created has become ideal. This can only be known by those who seek satisfaction in their own profession ... This happiness is only because of the opportunity given to me by Yadav Sir.

That's all ...

Last year his daughter joined college and he gave me her divisionto teach and told me that “ You always push students in different types of activities which enhance their personality, So she will become smart if you teach her division”. Such an incredible simplicity is rare in people nowadays.

There’s an interesting story regarding his simplicity .....

 It was Ganpati vacation…

Before going to vacation I asked sir wheather if he is not going to his native village then probably he should join us at our village. The answered with a positive response saying that he’ll surely visit my village with his family. He was going visit my first time since last 15-16 years.

On the second day of the Ganpati celebration , he ranged me saying “ “ (Mansa!) I’m at the stop guide me the route to your house”. I was so excited that I started guiding him on the phone itself, ‘First continue the straight road then you will find a temple and  I will standing there waiting for you’. He told me ill come! , wait! , hang on bit! and aftersometimes he told me that there is no temple and they are saying temple is at godown stop.

After understanding the situation I got know that he was at my home in Ratnagiri and not my village (Ambed) and I started laughing loudly. I thought he might have known the background but felt bad because he was with his family. And I apologised about the situation and said sorry. But sir on the other hand was consoling me by saying that may be he misheard me. This simplicity sometimes brings huge problems to them.

We both share a comman factor of taking responsibilities and working that’s why people say “ These two ghosts of FC are always at college!”.

 May be that’s the reason that from las 21 years we never had any misunderstanding or a quarrel.

Working in same collge and teaching the same subject and still having an good communication and understanding is rare.

 I am very lucky to have a colleague like Yadav Sir.
